Welcome to South Canterbury GymSports, Timaru.

South Canterbury GymSports is a Timaru based Gymnastics Club which provides families in Timaru and surrounding areas with a dedicated gymnastics facility that offers quality recreational and competition level gymnastics programmes. 

We are a Gymnastics New Zealand affiliated club and offer the GNZ Kiwi Gymfun and Incentive Awards Programs for our recreational classes. We also have competition squads in three Gymnastics NZ Disciplines.  Our WAG STEP squads, MAG squads, and our Aerobics squad.  Our classes are held at our dedicated gymnastics facility at 8 Craigie Avenue, Timaru, which offers a full sized competition floor, competition level equipiment, and an in ground trampoline and a training foam pit.

Our Recreational and Pre-School classes follow school terms.  Towards the end of each term current members will be offered priority re-enrolment before we offer any remaining spaces to new members.  Members must re-enrol each term to continue the next term.  

NOTE: We do not open for classes on Public Holidays.

Term 1 2025 classes will commence the week beginning Monday 10th February, 2025.  

TERM 1 2025 enrolments are currently only open for returning members or those we have contacted to advise they have a place available.  Please do not register unless you have contacted us first to see if there are places available for your child.  Most classes have waiting lists, so get in touch if you are interested in your child joining South Canterbury GymSports.
